history
NuWay Cleaners is a well-established dry cleaning and laundry service business, being founded by Bob Stanton, after he graduated from the National Institute of Dry Cleaners in America all the way back in 1957.
He returned to Zimbabwe and opened NuWay Cleaners in 1958, with his philosophy to bring ‘quality dry cleaning’ here.

The first Nu-Way Cleaner’s shop was in Stortford Parade, Mabelreign, with Nu-Way still being in this shopping centre today, some 70 years later !

In 1972 NuWay cleaners was incorporated into the family owned Central Dry Cleaners, with NuWay now boasting thirteen shops in the CBD, north and west of Harare.

Our General Manager has 25 years of experience and is at the disposal of Clients on a daily basis, providing an excellent level of service.

We employ 140 people, with the longest serving member of staff having 30 plus years of experience with us and the average length of service being 10 years.
​
Our staff are carefully selected and trained on site in their particular area of expertise. They also receive regular training up-dates and undergo monitoring exercises conducting by the Operations Manager and Factory Manager to ensure that the best possible quality of service is provided.
